Protection of Personal Data!
Hello,
Given the digital revolution, protecting personal data is becoming more important every day.
Based on this, the Personal Data Protection Law No.24 of 2023 was enacted to enhance individuals’ rights and security over their personal data and information.
The date of enactment was 17/3/2024, while the date of enforcement will be 17/3/2025. This means that companies, including Orange Jordan, have a grace period of 1 year to comply with the Law.
The law specifies data subject rights, data controller and processor obligations, as well as certain mandatory security measures along with their penalties in case of non-compliance.
Our company is currently implementing the “PerLa” Program supported by the CEO in order to achieve law compliance by the enforcement date.
